In this update, you’ll find ASICS' FLYTEFOAM TURBO PLUS, the same foam used in the elite METASPEED racing line. This foam provides comfortable cushioning and efficiency benefits, making long-distance running feel easier. Sitting below this soft and highly responsive foam is a thin layer of FLYTEFOAM Blast PLUS ECO, encouraging a more bouncy toe-off and helping to stabilize the softer foam above.

The outsole of the Superblast 2 is designed to keep weight to a minimum, with ASICSGRIP rubber strategically placed for protection where necessary and cut out in areas where it is not needed. Meanwhile, a race-like upper completes the ASICS Superblast 2 with an asymmetric mesh design that is both breathable and durable. A gusseted tongue wingfit system improves the midfoot fit and reduces tongue sliding.
